The 4WD indicator light on the dash of my '87 W150 won't work. Wiring in the cab looks ok, replaced the bulb. What might be the problem, and how might I fix it? Any ideas fellas?

man, no 4wd light on the 77, wish i could help. check the switch on the front diff, my 99 ram had the light go out too, ended up being because the switch was bad. good luck

I'm not sure about your rig, but on mine (79' with a 203 TC) there is a switch (Or there was supposed to be a switch) that worked off the shifter arms. When I first got my truck, the 'LOC' light would go on/off/on/off .... Because the wire that was supposed to be attached to the switch that was supposed to be there was just dangeling and grounding against TC....
Anyway, I know this doesn't help you much, but maybe your rig is setup the same way ... Maybe you have a bad switch or an empty hole in a bracket where a switch is supposed to be...
