Has anybody heard anything new on the 2500's? Will the Power Wagon exist past 09? I see no one has any data on the 2500 body, or specs for anything do we know when we might hear somehting?
I really regret not buying a PW when I had the chance. Now I fear I may have missed my window.

There may be no info because Dodge is currently gearing up to produce the Rams in America again and a new nissan truck in mexico. This has to take some time to do all that. Lets hope that's why anyway.

As far as I know, not all Ram trucks were/are built in Mexico. But I know all 3G Power Wagons were.
The Ram and Nissan will probably be built on the same production line in Mexico. I think that's what the press release said.

i read some were that the 09 power wagon did get the updated hemi but it was rated at 355Hp

Good news. I just stopped by saturday at a large Dodge dealer in WNY and they had the 09' brochures in. The PowerWagon was in there and he said if it's in there you can get one. YEAH !!!

I'm afraid the only way I'll get a Power Wagon is if they continue it with the new HD Body Style in 2010. Everybody and their mother say's it won't happen, but we'll see. I remain optimistic.

Hey guys. Anyone know what the maximum towing capacity is on the '09 Power Wagon? I'm fine with the old body style, and a half ton pickup won't tow what I need it to anyway.

It is 10,500lbs. Max payload is 2750lbs, but I can personally attest that I would NOT EVER put that in my stock PowerWagon. Our camper has a 1200lb tongue weight and my truck sqatted wayyy to much, even with the weight distributing hitch. I put a set of Hellwig LoadPro 35 one-ton helper springs on it for towing and now it tows good. They made a WORLD of difference. 381$ shipped to my door.

Good news for rock crawlers and wheelers: The Hemi-powered Power Wagon off-road version of the Ram also continues next year. It's the only Ram HD with a 4.56 rear axle and locking front and rear differentials.
That last sentence excites me! Locking rear AND front, boy that will be a treat!

The dealer is misinformed then. The news release on the new 2010 HD's include all the info about the new Power Wagon. Why are dealers the last to know? Shouldn't they know this stuff???

Bumping this to the top- has anybody seen anything new on the 4th Generation Power Wagon (or any new news on the 4th Generation HD in general)? Since Chrysler has decided that with the help of the US Government they need to "restructure" I haven't seen a thing on the new HD's. I really want a Power Wagon, but if they don't materialize, I'll have to take a close look at the Raptor.

3-4 months doesn't really effect me since I'm holding out until 2012 for a new truck, but I'd sure like to see some sign of life with the new HD's.
