I have an 87 Dodge truck but the heart of a 1970 Dart 318. I have the shop manual for the 70 but can not locate any vacuum diagrams in it. Is there somewhere I can buy the diagram or perhaps someone might have one scanned in that I might be able to see? I sure would like to make sure they are all running to correct places and get rid of some of this excess crap hanging around in that engine well. Appreciate guys!! :rck:

Great minds think alike.....
I have a 87 Ram and I put a 70 318 in it....runs great.
Someone else was looking for the vac diagram, mine has a sticker on the driver's inner fender, I have a pic of it, if you PM me your e-mail addy, I can send it to you.

Right now I'm running 12 degrees BTDC at idle (around 900 RPM) on the stock ECU, seems to work just fine. Anywhere near that should be fine - when I 1st fired it witht he new motor it was at 10 and ran pretty darn good there too.
Evenutally I'll be switching to an MSD 6-AL and a vac advance distributor, and I'll probably set the total advance around 35...
