Hi, I have a problem with my 01 b3500. The heat comes out of the defrost and floor only and not very good even with the blower on high. and it won't blow ot the dash vents at all, I have checked for vacuum leaks and can't find any. I checked the vacuum operated doors behind the glove box and under the hood and also the temp control actuator and all are good and working. I think there is another vacuum operated solenoid in th middle of the dash that requires the dash top to be removed to get to it but I cant even see it without taking the dash apart. has anyone else had this problem? And it has nothing to do with the one way check valve because there is no change when excelerating. please help! and thanks in advance for any info.

Don't bother looking in the Hayes Repair Manual #30065 for the information. The manual doesn't cover anything like that in Chapter 3 HVAC nor Chapter 12 Dash removal.

Sorry I can't help you better than that.

Maybe Nate or someone can help here.

Unfortunately I don't know much about the 98-03 vans having never owned one. I can look in my '01 FSM and see if there is a diagnostic tree for HVAC problems.

Here's the vacuum connector pin-out and switch logic. Perhaps these might help you in narrowing down the problem.
