Just wondering what the spark club gap on my '86 318 2 barrel carb engine should be? Should it be .035? Did it ever change at some point in time to something else?

For the Magnum LA engines it's 0.40

I don't think this is a magnum engine in my 86. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No. The 86 doesn't have the magnum heads. I had a link that had gap specs all over the board for old and newer DCX engines. Having a slightly larger gap shouldn't hurt the engine none. However it is a pain to take them all out and re-gap later. I'll see if I can find the link for you.
