Added to the family today. '80 regular cab, short bed, 1/2 ton, 2wd. It has a slant six with a fresh rebuild and an auto. The carb needs rebuilt and the body is rough but it rides real nice, and no rust. It was a former Air Force truck so I'm calling it Air Force One Ugly B**** for now. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow. Running(rough), driving and rust free for $600, I'm happy with it. Now I have to decide which to work on, this one, the '75, or both. :D

Congrads!

So, are you having a 'truck shower'? Are the invites coming soon? :D

Love my 86 with /6. Get hold of the two barrel and intake and throw a Dodge Caravan electric fan on it and it will surpise the hell out of you. All told both things cost me about $100 and well worth it. Alan G

Yeah I will send out invites once she settled in. Took it for a short drive yesterday and was pretty impressed with the 6. I'm debating on putting the extra 360 I have in there or slapping on the Eaton supercharger that's collecting dust. Hell even the A/C was cold.

a supercharger on a leaning tower of power
that would be an ambitious project

and the sound from the exhaust would be music

theres a few turbo'd slants out there, ha imagine launching that on boost traction would definitley be an issue

Man, I think with the price of gas these days (and going up) I'd keep it as 'econo' as possible... that's just me though ;)

I have an econo ride already. I'll probably play with slant for awhile, just for fun. I've never messed with em so it should be an experience at least.

You got nothing to lose, slap the blower on it and report back.
