Ok, I replaced the relay. I couldn't put it back in the original place because I couldn't get the old one out. So I relocated it to the side of the rad housing using a bolt in the side of the housing to mount it. I'm pretty sure that doesn't make a difference.
I let the van warm up until the temp gauge reached about 3/4 of the way up and still the fan didn't turn on. Also my OBDII scanner won't clear the code. It connects fine and even says it clearing the code but when it's done it says there is still a code there.
I triple checked the fuse and it's good.
I just thought of something... I wonder if the relay has to be mounted flat? I mounted it on the side. I know some relays it matters and some it doesn't. Does anyone know if that make a difference with this relay?
