Performance exhaust

So I found an exhaust set-up for my 84 b250, mine started getting holes this last spring. So its a dual 2.25" with no H-pipe or anything like that. I was told if I put that in I am gonna burn up the valves on the engine. Is that true?

I doupt it, I had a true dual set up on my 79 318 with no H pipe, had no problem at all.

I currently have true duals with no h pipe. I have no problems. I have a dual in dual out though that i think is open chambered.

You won't have any problems.
