I got a 2001 2500 with lots of banks equipment on and about a week ago the engine light came on and i noticed the tachometer was not working i ran the codes and p1693 and p1763 came up anybody know about this

P1763 Governor Pressure Sensor Volts Too High.
Voltage greater than 4.89 volts (4-speed auto. trans.
only)...must be a transmission trouble code. You might check for loose wires to the transmission.
Did you do the keyswitch On-Off-On-Off-On method?

Hey,Clunk thanks for the info i'll check that out. Where is the Govenor Pressure sensor located.
