1995 B250 Van 318.
Engine missfires and backfires. Plugs Leads Cap and Rotor all replaced new coil fitted egr replaced compressions checked fuel pressure checked all good.
engine right down on power get's worse the the longer you try to drive it no codes stored. Can anyone help please this has been going on from christmas running out of ideas. :confused: :help:

Possibly the cam sensor/pick-up coil in the distributor, or the crankshaft position sensor on the back of the engine.

Alloro..Cheers for that checked ..out also changed injectors it's getting worse was taken for a 100mile run at the weekend it killed it won't even pull up the smallest of inclines...Need help does anyone think it could be inlet manifold leak if so worth replacing head gaskets at the same time.

Check the cat con for melt down... It along with the bellypan gasket on the bottom of the intake results in many problems for Ram trucks.
I have read a bad cat con will rattle like it has marbles in it when tapped.

Yep, that's exactly how it'll sound. Not all that fail will do that, though...
I had one replaced once - the guy cut the pipe on one side, started on the other and the converter tilted downwards - and the pieces of the ceramic element showered down on him (fortunately, he laughed about it).
