after paying $20 for my girl and me ...I went hoping to see the new 2009 RAM and F150 and was let down by both. One the Ram was a base model looked to be a ST and it was displayed on a rotating platform. you could not get close enough to touch or even sit inside or even get good pictures because you were not allowed to get up on the platform. so about 5 of us listened to the female model that was trying her best to tell us about all the new features and all five of us where asking the same question why is this the model truck that Dodge has on display at the car show? and she said she felt the same as us .she said she has voiced her opinion to Dodge already , and what i do not get ,I was able to sit cars that cost $90,000 but I was not even aloud to get closer then 10 feet of both the Ram and F150.

They are pre-production models circulating the auto circuit now. Once they are in production you'll be able to drool all over that stitched dash ;)

Who wants finger prints in their windows at a car show anyway? Those pre-production models aren't made for the rough treatment some like to dish out on the lots...

Once policy is made on the subject,it will not change.Even executives from other companies were pullin and pushin on items and quick video taping by their seconds.

The Chrysler PR team didn't even like journalists poking around the '09 Ram at the Houston Auto Show. A few of us had been sitting in the truck, looking under the hood, etc. when the Chrysler folks quietly walked up, closed the doors and hood, and locked everything. But at least I got some pics and a good first impression first. :D
