i have an 84 power ram. 360 for now.i have gathered up all the parts in need to swap in a 440. motor has 16,200 mils on it.i have the 4wd trans.the one thing i was looking at yesterday is.the brake booster.the big block gonna hit.i am thinking i can change it out for an older one say a 78 with big block it has the smaller booster.since i manage a parts store i can get a new unit with a master cyl.my question is where it bolts into the cab is the bolt pattern the same.has anybody out there done the same swap motor wise.what did you do to solve the problem with booster.i do not want to put a body lift on my truck.
