Did the later model 4bbl 318s use an alum. intake or all castiron? Will a Q-jet fit a thermo-quad intake?

I believe that they were all cast iron.

I am pretty sure that the only aluminum factory manifolds that MoPar used were 2X4BBL and 3X2BBL (there may have been a 273 4bbl in the early '60s) but none on a 318.
Yes the Qjet will fit a TQ manifold.

Yes the Qjet will fit a TQ manifold.+1. I have an early-mid 60's 273 4bbl single intake, it is cast iron.

Ive got a Eidelbrock CH3B 4 bbl aluminum intake with Chrysler logo and part numbers on it. Got it on my 440.
Is that a Chrysler original part? Possible option? :)

I believe Edelbrock made manifolds for the old Direct Connection catalog that had the pentistar on it.

Chrysler ran short on 440 six pac intakes in 70 and a lot of cars had Edelbrock aluminum. Had a 340 Cuda' once with LD340 intake from factory.
