Greeting fellow sheep herders.

I am entertaining the thought of ripping out the old grand pop looking bench seat in my 1986 D100 and installing some bucket seats. I am wondering if anyone has done this and if there are any suggestions to obtaining bucket seats and any issues related to making the change such a installation hassles, bolt issues, etc.

I am not really sure how to start this project, so, any information would be of value.

Can I go to a junk yard and buy some satisfactory buckets and just install them, with the forethought of having to maybe drill some holes of course.

Thanks,

I would look for a 80's Ramcharger with captain chairs & console, make it easy on yourself.

I assume you're saying the Ram Charger seats will bolt right in? I really don't even want a console between the seats, but, the Ram Charger thing is a good start. Thanks!

yeah the brackets are the exact same, the floor pan in your truck is even dimpled where you'll need to drill a couple extra holes. I have brackets from a r/c and seats from an adventurer and they fit perfect
