jsut got- 1978 D-150 CUSTOM POWERWAGON

I JusT PICKED THIS BABY UP BUT HAVE SOME RESEARCHING AND INFO GETTIN b 4 i START MESSING WITH IT , SHE HAS A BALANCED ADN BLUEPRINTED 360 , 727 W/ B&M SLAP SHIFTER ,POSI ,4X4 , GU Y ALSO GAVE ME A STOCK BRUSH GUARD AND NEW HEADMAN HEADERS GONNA DO EXHAUST FIRST I THINK AFTER WIRRING. THEN TIRES AND STEREO DONT WANT TO DO TO MUCH JSUT A TOY BUT A KEEPER TOO. I LOVE DODGE TRUCKS!!!!!!!!. I HAVE BEEN AROUNd HERE FOR A WHILE WITH MY OTHER TWO DODGES I HAVE 2000 DAKOTA CC R/T, 2004 DODGE RUMBLE BEE , AND NOW THIS BABY . WOOPS SORRY ABOUT CAPS.

what i was hoping is to get as much info i can or help getting from all here :great links wirring info anyhting , this truck has been modded a little stock guage panel gone customed a bit but no lights behind guages except the after market tac guage. blower switches arent turning on blower for heater . other than that about it but im no wirring guy guages work but no lights on main ones . is there any kits for all vehicles to rewire? things to look at to get this shiat going and last any good info on anything that should be done to keep in good shape for the problem areas known about already . lol i know alot to ask huh but i would appretiate it any help at all . pics follow thanks again all. :gr_patrio :gr_patrio oh and are the steps in the side of this truck stock i have yet to see theese on any others the guy i got it from had it for like 14 years and the guy before him had got it after his carreer in military. thanks all any and all info welcome please ..lol taker ez USCITZN :gr_patrio OH AN DP.S.- GO AHEAD AND SAY IT LEMON LIME I KNOW ,7-UP LOL NEWSCHOOL AND OLDSCHOOL ! i have the wiring diagrham for a 1979 should be the same let me know and ill email them to ya. Havent heard on any kit spacific to the truck but painless has a unversall. I went throgh and rewired mine to fit a 90s fuse box. was nothing to bad. its a vrey nice looking truck.

wow you bet hit me with all you got and maybe give me the low down on how and you wired yours with a 90 's box if you would any benefit ? thanks so much i would love to have them adnany ideas on the blower not blowin i havent got up under there yet to see if it is the switch or what but guy told me it was working so maybe fuse i dont know lol . thahe comlpliments it is very straight and newer paint all my friends say my driveway looks like lemmon and lime or 7-up lol my email jamescluck@yahoo.com thanks alot and anyone have anything good for this truck ther is the email thanks .

oh and by the way i did only have to pay $1650.00 for it and he was really huting for money wanted 3000 butdicked around so long he had no choice at one point i offered him 2100 and he held out lol then money was tight and he needed it sold broke his heart . time to start modding adn fixin.

I've got a 76 W100 similar to yours which has 2 tanks. One behind the seat and one frame mounted on the drivers side. If your adding a second tank, Speed just had a thread on a putting a Ramcharger tank in behind the rear axle. Slick set up if ya want dual exhausts.
...and no it's not a Warlock, wish it was, but I'm fixing it up to have the best of everything I can find here on DT. :)

The color is Lime light green isn't?Meh who knows, I've seen so many names for that paint :) I've always called it Sublime Green as that was Dodge's name for it. Plymouth may have called it something different. Sassy Grass Green is a little darker, so it's not that.

thanks all . i will be posting some more pics soon , it has been to damn cold to do anything outside lol they guy that had it before did a neat diamond plate scheeme on inside i need to do some painting of the door panels to get rid of some scratches ,not bad though and then im going to do the instument panel sublime green to mathc the outside . not stock seat not real sure what it is out of but comfy and nice . i have some issues i will have to tack le on this truck bnut as forthe engine adn the mechanics , pretty damn good shape shes a runner. i do want to get me a new steerign wheel a bit smaller since i dont have tilt and the seat is a little tall , hard to get in and out a bit
. thanks again all i would love to get too. and also i have a question this truck has emblems on side thta say Custom d150 and i have not seen theese on any other powerwagon around here at least can anyone elaberate on this is this a hard emblem to find or is this a diff powerwagon? i have been online and cant find anyone with this emble as well . thanks

i must say , they put that stereo in th elowest place possible sux that will change and maybe will put next to speedo and the food is getting changed and im going with poss diamond plate or steel or diff wood . the little toggle on the top left of the speedo is the tank swith. appears the original guages were taken out and new ones blow steering column all work well. i would love to see some 78's or 70 whatever dash shots it would really help i do have a 78 guage bezel that was in it all black in good shape no cracks . pics woudl be great guys if ya have thanks hope you enjoyed and like i said give it to me comments suggestions anything thanks :gr_patrio

Here some stock-custom dash shots for ya...
All stock gauges (Ex. tach)with "Brushed aluminum" overlays,
As for the horn... Check then recheck grounds or see if you have power to the horns themselves...(two man job)....And yes ANY horn will work (Just plug & Play)
