I was told that these cars do not have a transmission pan gasket and they just use sealant? Is that true? Because about a year ago I had the transmission serviced (oil/filter). It was okay at first but now after 1 year and 7,000 miles it seems to be leaking again. The dealer parts counter told me that it may also be the soleniod pack at the front of the transmission that might be leaking? But after the trans was cleaned, oil and filter replaced everything seemed to be fine? One last thing, the trans shop where I had the work done told me that it's not necessary to put in ATF +4 with the mileage this car has? Any thoughts? Thanks
