on a 78 lil red express do the taillights mount in front of the tailgate piller or behind. on a 79 they mount behind the piller.my 78s are mounted in front of the piller. ive had it since 1980 but when i painted it maybe i put them on wrong.I dont think so because there is a threded hole there.no big thing just wondering.
