My husband replaced the old factory radio and the instrument light blew. We took off the dash and cannot seem to find where the freaking light is. And yes we know what a light looks like lol. Needless to say the dash is still not put all the way back together just snapped on no screws ect. So where the heck is the light at?
Also how do you go about replacing the wheel bearings? I called Firestone and they told me I would have to re-do the whole hub? Is this true? Reason is because every time I get a tire on there shortly after we have a bubble like feeling while driving. We feel it when going 35mph to 40mph and after 65mph. Any suggestions?
Also every time I turn like at a corner or anything there is a clunking noise in the rear end. What could this be. It is not nothing I have rolling around back there either lol. But I was thinking maybe the sway bar is loose? I heard this happens a lot but never saw what it was.
Yes I know I am a lady but my dad is a mechanic and as he gets older his skills are not as good as they used to be. So I learned a lot about fixing my own cars and repaired my 1994 Infiniti Q45 and did my own tune up which would have cost at minimum $600 at a shop.
Thank you so much for your advice. I have Fibromyalgia so it is hard for me to work on the car anymore so now it is all up to my hubby and my dad.
Thanks,
krystal
