Hi..newbie to this group! I have a 1997 Caravan SE 3.0l that has a problem with the cruise control. When I press the on button the cruise light comes on. But when I press the set button the cruise light shuts off and the cruise doesn't work. I then try and turn the cruise on again but nothing. I have to wait until I turn the van off and on again and then the cruise light reappears. Also the cruise sometimes works about 1 in 20 tries. I have read about the clockspring causing problems but the horn and air bag light works so I am not sure if this is the problem. I would appreciate any help....really want to get the cruise working so I can take it on a trip. Thanks! :)
