i need to replace my tourqe converter on my 87 w150 360cid 727 tourqflite /3.55 gears what would be the best stall speed to get? i do some towing of other trucks with a trailer looking for best all round proformence thanks

I would stay with a factory lo-stall (1600-1800rpm) or a B+M traveler which is meant for towing... A higher stall will cost at the gas-pump and make extra heat that lowers transmission lifetime. A good cooler and shift-kit would also be worth having if you tow often.

A stall converter is mainly for racing, it allows the engine to rev higher before the converter actually starts grabbing.
