hey fellas! my son gave a curb a love tap. he has a 05 neon sxt the only damage is the inner tie rods bent. i cant seem to find just that part. not only is the rack and pinion assembly expesive. it looks like a bitch to replace. thanks inadvance.

You cannot get just the inner tie rod ends from a dealer (they will try to soak you for the whole rack), however you can get them from auto parts retailers such as Autozone or Advance Auto, CarQuest, Napa, etc.... If for some reason the retailers in your area tell you they cannot get them either, look online. You can buy them without buying the whole rack, you just have to search because they (they being those making money off of you) would much rather you buy the whole rack for more money.

o.k. thanks fellas! i was looking a little closer at the inner tie rod. it doesnt look like it comes apart from the whole rack? has any one replaced one before? now my interests are peaked..

o.k. thanks for all the help.. im getting ready to replace the whole thing. do i need to disassable the whole sub frame and suspension. has any one already relpace theres? any help would be appreciated..
