need help with my headlights

The headlights stayed on all day and would not shut off. Finally they off by themselves while driving home from work. The Hi beam indicator light stays on , yet no lights at all SO PLEASE HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM

I'm sure that someone on here will have the answer that yo are looking for but, you will need to give up a little info about your truck like model and year.
