I took all the badges off my car tonight and cleaned away all the goop real nice with 3M remover. The only issue at hand (which I almost predicted) is that you can still see the ghosting from the badges in the right light. It's not too bad at all, but I still know it's there. Any suggestions to get rid of the fade?

I had the same problem and after some time, waxing, washing, etc...they disappeared. I would think that if you used one of those clay bars they sell to get rid of small imperfections in your clear coat, that might do it, but I don't know from personally trying it.

3m makes a sand like compound sstuff for buffing and thats what i used on my dads monte then just buff it with polish and it looks brand new.

A good brand of polishing compound and a few coats of your favorite wax and you'll be good to go.

Thanks guys!

I was hoping it would be something that easy. I'll give it a shot.
