I have a 99 Dodge Neon that is giving me a headache. The car would turn over for about 2 secs then stop, and I had to toggle the ignition back a forth to get it to turn over again. A friend unplugged the coil then plugged it back in and the car will turn over fine but will not start. I checked the plug wires and they aren't getting any fire. If it wasn't the coil, what could make the car not get any fire, but still get fuel? The computer has just been replaced with a new one and the starter was shot as well so I replaced it too. If I had hair I'd be pulling it out now!!! HELP!!!

Also, I hooked a testlight up to the coil connection and instead of lighting up there was a click in the underhood fuse box then it reset. I swapped around all the relays and still don't know anymore than I did.

by turning over for 2 seconds then stop do you mean its starting and then stalling after 2 seconds?

Was the starter and computer suposed to fix this problem then you tried the coil?
Maybe the cam/cranck sensor? Does the car throw any codes? At any rate Id look into the battery to starter wire for corrosion. And maybe the batt to fuse block as well. Good Luck
