Right after we aquired tthis 2001 Grand Caravan ES, the ABS light would intermitendly come on and off during turns, with a chattering feeling under the drivers side front. It of course stopped, but light is still on. So I have to guess that the Drivers side Front sensor might have died? Any way to diagnose this without having to take it to the dealer?

Second issue: The Heat and A/C. AC works fine. The system was worked on twice before we got it (from a family member). They said that the Defrost was "particular" when it was used. We figured out why! Now that the weather has turned colder, the only part of the Heat that actually blows HOT is the Drivers side! The Passenger, Defroster and Rear all blow ice cold - no matter what the temp setting is! And No, the AC is not turned on.

Right now the van is parked and not useable. Hard to see with the windows fogged up, let alone freezing!

THANKS for any insight!

Nathan

Not so sure about the ABS, but the heat problem sure sounds like some of the duct work under the dash might not be connected to the heater box. I'd have a look around under there first.
