I need help determining which rear end (ratio) I have in my truck. It's a 1983 D150. It came with a slant six and a 904 transmission. Here are some pics of the front and back of the diff. The only tag I found on the diff, was on the very bottom bolt and after wire brushing, it reads "1433".
Thanks for any help!

Some times there will be a sticker under the hood that tells alot of the options that the truck was ordered with if the sticker is there than it should tell the axle ratio. I have a dodge van that has this sticker and a 79 model dodge truck that has it in the glove box. If you cannot find this sticker or build sheet (usually in the seat springs) than you will have to count how many times it takes the drive shaft to turn before the wheel turns one time. To do this jack only one wheel of the truck up if it has a open differentail. spin the drive shaft counting its rotations until the wheel makes one complete revolution.
What you have there is a 8 1/4 rears there. I believe that to be a standard rear end of that year of your truck. Buck99 is right on his thread.
