96 Grand caravan 3.3L. I have raised my vehicle a number of times for brakes etc. The past few times after I set the vehicle back on the ground the suspension on the passenger side becomes very stiff and bouncy. In the past after some driving it has gone back to normal. This last time I simply rotated my tires and again it is stiff and doesn't seem to be going away. Has any one had this problem? wondering if it is just an old strut and once the weight is off it it goes all funky or possible a suspension component. It's weird.

methinks the struts are shot
how many miles on the beast
i suggest you put new struts on
you can do it yourself but you need a strut compressor
you can rent one or get one from one of the chain auto part stores that lend them out
DO NOT try it without a strut compressor - will will either kill yourself or do yourself a serious injury; if you do not kill or injure yourself you will do it to someone else
If you do not feel comfortable then get someone else to overhaul the struts
you can save some $ by taking the struts off the van, getting them overhauled and then re-installing them yourself
in either case a wheel alignment is in order when the job is done

Changed my struts and back to normal. Got 147000 out of them just slightly overdue.
