I'm Getting Ready To Restore The Old Man's Truck. I Remember When He Ordered It In 1975. Club Cab D100, Long Bed, Adventure Se Pkg. This Is Were The Truck Is Unique- Slant 6, Np 4sp. The Factory Would Not Install Ac Because They Thought Too Much Truck For Engine. Engine Has 375k And Has Never Had Oil Pan Off. Still Original Clutch Too! Runs Strong But Coastal Climate Has Destroyed The Body. My Question Is This. How Many Trucks Were Made Like This. Should I Keep It Original, Or Add Options That It Did Not Have Like Cruze And Factory Air( After Market Air Was Added The Day It Arrived At The Dealer, As Well As A 270 Rear End). If Anyone Knows Of A Clean Cab With Large Floor Tunnel In The South East Please Let Me Know. Thanks

the aftermaket air was a clean fit. the controls fit in one of the dash vents. the core was in the dash but did require a smaller glove box.it used the truck vents. basicly not an under dash unit. if i get a doner truck with factory ac i will keep you in mind
