Dodge motors can / and are all different colors..
Some are "Pinkish"

'Cause ricers like to run colored wire loom everywhere and paint valve covers, oil caps, master cyl's etc to match ;) They've even been known to paint battery tops to match:crazy:

oh boy, i got me a puuurty chrome intake with blue rubber things on it... even some blue vacuum line! lol... thats about the only thing im gonna get to do to that though :( i wanted me a regular baap baap.

My dad has always been there for me as far as helping me work on it, but again, i've done most of the work and research.. so your wrong again.. i will say though he helped me pay for it initially as far as the paint and an initial tuneup... but thats as far as thats gone. But i've paid for everything since then. So, your just a little off.. and im pretty sure my dad will vouge for that.
i've got a pink slip, a boxful of receipts, and paystubs to prove for what i've put into it. It's my truck, everyone who knows me knows that... But in the mean time, i'll just laugh at your ignorance.

but it is 500 hp at the crank, or right around it. Don't have a dyno but thats my estimate after looking at dynos of similar built 340/416 combos.
looking at test #5 that is a very similar build to what i have... with about an extra .030" of lift...
So i'd have to say mine would be right around 500 hp and 500 ft/lbs. ;)

I would say Joel's engine is close to 500 lbs-ft of torque, I'd guess 450hp. I can't remember the cam profile or compression though.
And if his word is anything to go by, which I believe it is, he's is paying for all the mods he's done to the truck since his dad gave him the truck. I think his dad fronted the money, but Joel is paying him back.
But I still want to see you guys run though :D You'll need to make that nitrous bottle functional, Mopower ;)

yup, it would be cool... but i dont think either of our trucks are much of a race truck lol. and about the money part, i neded up spending about 1600 extra or so on the motor and my parents loaned me the money initially but thats all paid for now.
and about the power its putting out, it is hard to tell by just looking at similarly built motor's dynos... cause personally, i've got a little more compresseion but less lift that the one that hit 500... but i've got several other different parts... but i would still say my hp and ft/lbs are nearing 500, if not above 500. it's the best estimate i can do... and it sounds better than 475! lol
