What is the timing set at, and how much vacuum do you have? What idle speed?

I Did Notice It Seem's To Run Better With The Choke Barely On, The Timing Is At 8 Degree's Advanced, The Carb I Have Only Has The Metering Block Vac, None On The Base Plate, Dosnt Seem To Be Much Vac From The Carb But A Ton Of Vac From The Intake Brake Booster Hook Up,[dirrectly From The Intake]i'll Need To Gauge It To Be Exact.it Runs Great As Long As Your Foot Is On The Pedel A Little!!!

Try setting the timing at 10 or 12. The idle mix screws on a Holley are in the sides of the metering block, there are none in the base plate.

Sounds like you're running lean. Also make sure you've got enough fuel pressure from the fuel pump and check your fuel filter.

Sounds like a bad master cyl.

318's seem to like a lot of timing w/ a 4bbl installed. I had mine at 21* w/ a 340 4bbl cam and a Eddy Performer intake and carb. Depends a lot on your setup.

Is There Anyway To Check The Master Cylinder And Booster???iv Bled The Brakes With A Vacum Pump A Couple Times, But The Brake Peddel Is Still Down Farther Then It Should???the Brakes Work Good, Just Not A Good Peddel......any Idea's???

Have you checked to make sure the rear brakes are adjusted all the way up to where they need to be? You should have self-adjusters on the rear, but who knows how old they are and if they still even work. Even one drum way under-adjusted will give you too much pedal....

Never Thought Of That, I'll Check Them Out This Evening, Too Ajust Them Out Which Way Do You Turn Them, Clockwise Or Counter???

Depends on which direction you're laying under the truck :D :D :D

To be honest, I forget because I don't have to do it that much.. IF I remember right (And that's a big IF) you turn the star-wheel from top to bottom to adjust them 'out' .... Eh, you've got a 50-50 chance of getting it right the first time... ;) You'll know fairly quick if you're going the right direction...

Well it'll jam if you try to go the other way, it's like a ratchet mechanism, only goes one way.

If it's not leaking at the wheel cylinder, it is probably the master cylinder.
