i have an '87 150 with working parking lights but no dash lights
the high beams and blinker bulbs work but the rest dont
all the bulbs are good and the fuse is fine

As mentioned above, check to make sure the headlight switch dimmer control is set correctly. The power for the dash lights comes from the headlight switch to the fuse and then from the fuse to the dash lights.

I had the same problem until I found out that the dimmer for the dash lights is the headlight switch. Turn it left or right while the lights are on and it should show wether or not they work. Kinda like turning the dial on your radio.

Check the taillights fuse, on a Dodge the dash lights will go out if the taillights go out.

i already checked the switch, they still dont work but it might just be a connection problem

Double check the connectors at the headlight switch and at the instrument cluster

I think there is an Instrument Lamp fuse also.

This is your fuse block. Be sure and check the correct fuses. Pull the 3amp dash fuse out of the block and with the headlight switch pulled out check for voltage on either of the terminals in the fuse block.
