EGR valve/sensor?

hi guys, my 1st post here, my mom has a 1997 stratus, check engine light came on, had diagnostic ran on it, said, egr valve or sensor not quite sure what she said, my question is, where is this located and is it a do it yourself job? i have a basic knowledge of mechanics and like to do the work myself if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well it depends what engine she has, they are all about the same location, some are just a little harder to get to.

located on the drivers side of the engine on the corner of the head. Only reason I know I have changed 2 on neon 2.0's
