Alright I have to admit it's a 03 Pt cruiser but it's got to be the same. The code is for a seat belt tensioner. So thats what tells the airbag system the seat is buckled. So can i unplug the deal and my lite go away or can i jumper the two connections so it thinks the seat belt is plugged in. I am trading it in to a dealership tomorrow morning and don't want the light showing up. The dealer can deal with it.

How 'bout just resetting the PCM right before you get there? The code should not return immediately...
Just pull the fuel pump fuse for 15 seconds. (if PT's are the same as neons)

the air bags ones will. Airbag codes can't be deleted either if it's active.

Can you just pull the bulb? :D On second thought, thats probably a bad idea. Dealer would notice if the light doesn't light up on startup.
Otherwise just leave it, I don't think it will make that much difference on the trade in value of your car. You're going to get screwed either way (dealers never give you what the car is worth, not even close).
