I just purchased an 07 Nitro last week. I love the vehicle. Think it is very comfortable and enjoy driving it. It only has 235 miles and I am inquiring about what I think might be an issue. My nitro seems to be chugging at certain speeds when the transmission has gone into the last gear (automatic transmission here). The chugging goes away as I excelerate and it down shifts but comes back as soon as it goes back into overdrive. I called my sales rep at the Dodge dealer the day after I picked it up and he told me to give it to 500 miles that its adjusting to my driving techniques. Has anyone else experienced this or might know anything about what may be wrong or is this normal. Thanks !!

Had Mine To The Dealer Today
It Has 2168 Miles On It
At About 50mph It Seems To Hang
The Dealer Said Everything Was Within Specs
So We Will See What Happens
When It Comes Time For The Oil Change I'm Going To Change It Over To Synthetic Oil
Already Did The Exhaust Made A Major Difference
Will Probably Do A Air Intake System To

Thanks for the reply. What did you have done to the exhaust to make it better?

Took The Original Off Muffler Pipe Resonator All On Unit
Put A Dynomax Super Turbo And T-pipe
It's A Little Louder
But It Will Make The Tires Break Loose Now
Where With The Original It Wouldn't
