1996 Grand Caravan Ignition Lockout

I locked my keys & fob in my van while it was running (oops). I opened the door with my spare fob, turned my van off and went to work. When I came out after work to go home, I unlocked my van with my original fob but van now won't start (anti-theft lockout?). The van has been well maintained, never missed a beat and was running perfectly with the keys locked in. Is there a chance that I have damaged something or is there a re-programming of the fobs that needs to happen to restart the van?

I don't think it has anything to do with you locking the fob in the van. It's probably something else.

is the van cranking? or will it just not even try to crank

if your van has an aftermarket alarm system with the starter diable feature it may require you to hit the unlock button on the keyfob before it will start
