Looking for everyones opinion. Im going to be buying a engine management system for my srt4 and I was looking at the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate. Ive heard nothing but great things about this system. I was wondering if anyone knows of anything better or if this is a good buy?

My friend has his AEM Stand Alone system. It's actually amazing on how detailed you can get the tuning down. But it comes with a hefty price tag.

I don't have an SRT-4, but my engine is more SRT-4 than Sebring now (check my garage). I'm using the plain old Greddy e-Manage. It works for what I'm doing. I would have liked to go with the AEM EMS, but then I wouldn't have anything to control my automatic transmission.

From what I have read the AEM EMS is the way to go, especially if you plan on keeping your SRT-4 for a while, and have plans to do some big mods with it.

If you decide to go with the AEM EMS, I can get you a good deal on one.

we run the D-tec fcbc and love it. It allows you to tune it yourself with a game boy Adv. Ran a best of 11.99 @113 with it on a stock turbo and all the boltons. AEM is good but you cannot tune it yourself as you need to go to a tuner shop and at the track tweeks are not possible. The D-tec allows you to make any changes you need to tune at the track between runs and with the AFR / datalogger option you can easily dial it in between passes and it does not throw codes and will pass state insp.

Really the Pro Racer Package for the SRT-4 from SCT is the best way to go now. No piggy backs to wire in, no replacing the PCM with some other EMS... just complete control over the PCM you already have. You can get your PCM to play nice with all your mods and not have it throw any codes at you with this. You create your tunes on a computer, and then flash them to your PCM through the ODBII port.

It also cost less than any of the EMS systems out there, and isn't too much more than any of the piggy backs.
