I misplaced the FSM and for the life of me can't seem to figure out how to lower the spare tire on my 2002 minivan. This is extremely embarrassing, but I need some help. :help:

If your van is like my '95
In the rear of the cargo area just in front of the bumper there is a flap in the carpet on the right side of center, covering a nut that is the same size as the lug nuts.
Using the lug wrench turn that nut and the the spare will lower.

the 02 is infact similar to the 95 except the lowering nut isn't under a flap of carpet it is under a little plastic disc which should have a picture of a tire on it in the back of the van behind the seats.

It may be under the plastic grocery bad carrying thing if your van is equipped with that-- just put it in the raised position.
