Okay so my stop leak finally gave now leak behind altenator is back trying to find the good ol rubber expandable but don't know the size? Any suggestions

Yeah, screw the rubber plug patch job and get the right freeze plug. Those rubber plugs are good as a temporary fix but they do not last.

Okay so I will have to find the inch and quarter brass any suggestions on which sealant would work best im guessing some kinda permatex brand that with stands high heat????

That will do just fine, just don't over do it when applying the sealer. Any excess that gets scraped off when installing the plug will go right into your cooling system. Those pieces of sealant floating around (if excessive) can mess with your heater core, radiator, water pump, and the thermostat.
