Does anyone know where I can purchase a pair of the front bumper guards that came on some 70's B-Series Vans? They are chrome w/black plastic pads on the front. I just replaced my bumper and it came without them. Any help is appreciated.

Their online catalog goes back to 1980, but those bumperettes were used from '79 up thorough '85 I believe.

If it becomes impossible to find any, I know that many of the Plymouth Valiant's, Duster's and Dodge Dart's had them. You might be able to retro fit them on. Remember to use a bumperette gasket so as the bumperette doesn't slide around and scratch the chrome bumper.

My '86 has them front and rear. I would think they would be an easy find at a wrecking yard. Probably wouldn't cost much either.

One last item to consider if you can't find them ... Look for Bumper Guards, Grill Guards and Push Bars for your generation years for that van. Typically, these will be aftermarket but should bolt right to the Dodge Ram Van bumper locations. Shop around too.

These should be easier to find. My folks have a Westin push-bar on their 1993 Dodge Ram Van conversion too. The one they have is black and it looks really sharp on the front end.

Rhino, Rampage, Ramsey, Hickey, Lund, Luverne, Gem, Dee-Zee, Manik, WAAG, Westin, and Putco are some manufactures that come to mind.

Nate,

Those are a really great find. Like a gem found in the rough. :)

Good find indeed, but they are listed as rear guards. I think the poster needs front. I looked at mine and the rears are smaller that the front guards.
