I was reading up on the specifics of the lifetime drivetrain warranty and I read that Chrysler nor the dealership will be sending out reminders for the mandatory 5 year inspection.
"To continue warranty coverage, the owner must have a powertrain inspection performed by an authorized Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealer once every 5 years. This inspection will be performed at no charge. The inspection must be made within 60 days of each 5-year anniversary of the warranty start date of the vehicle."
If you miss anyone of these 5 year inspections you will void your lifetime warranty.
So heres my question if you haven't thought about it yet...
How will you remind yourself of the inspection, 5 years from now?

They are always trying to find ways out of deals. I guess I will have to remind myself somehow. Ya got to read the fine print.
A few years ago I joined a gym which required a monthly membership fee that I had set up to automaticlly withdraw from my checking account. I enjoyed the membership and was an active member.
Well six months into the membership I moved 40 miles away from the gym and asked that my contract be stopped. You would have thought I was asking for their first born child. After going through two assistant managers, one general manager and a regional manager and threatening to contact my lawyer, I was finally able to get them to abolish the contract. In the meantime I told my bank to stop all payments, boy I got some nasty comments from them. I previously had enjoyed my membership and even recomended them to others. Now I cringe every time I hear an ad.

I thought that they where suppose to send you something every five years. Well it's good to know that cause I will make sure to do it. I bought mine in april and have 15000 miles on it.
