Need to change the compressor idler pulley bearing on my wife's (318)machine. Can anyone provide the size and pitch of the thread in that pulley? It appears to be something like 7/8" dia. but could be metric as are a few other things on it. The earlier ones are 5/8-11 and pull off easily with the help of a three legged washer to push if off a tapered and keyed shaft.

I have a Haynes manual but it conveniently omits all references to any AC systems.

Problem was solved, it was not the A/C pulley bearing making the noise, but the fan clutch. Installed a new clutch and the noise went away. Did however, find from another source, that that A/C shaft is not a tapered version like the earlier models are.
