I have a 94 low top conversion van . It didn't come with a tv so I installed one between the front seats down low.I have a playstation 2 connected to it so the kids can play games or watch a movie . My problem is people in the back bench seat can't hear through the one little speaker in the tv .
Can I solder a wire onto the tv's speaker wire (inside the tv's cabinet) and connect it to the speakers in the back of the van ?
OR, if I purchase a tv with speaker out jacks can I hook them up to the existing speakers ?
Thanks in advance

U probably could solder a wire and run a seperate speaker in the rear, I wouldnt tap into existing radio speakers.
My tv had an external plug, so I used computer speakers for it for a while, then bought a wireless headphone system that works better. Got it on ebay, and it plugs into the same plug. The kids can hear tv, I can here music.

Post some pictures of your TV and Playstation setup. It may give others ideas too.
Thanks!

OK ,
I have some photos .Basically I built a plywood angled box and painted it black .I then hardwired a power converter into ignition power and placed the inverter under the driver seat .I cut a half moon hole at the bottom of the box for a wire run . The playstation 2 also plays DVD movies .
Maybe I'll get a tv that has audio out jacks so I can solve my sound problem.
