intrepid alternater problems

i have a 2000 intrepid i did the engine change from 2.7 to 3.2 last year works out good but now my battery light is on i replaced the alternater the battery the pcm i checked the fuse link well all the fuses and the harness all seem good but still the light is on and it won't charge when i hook the scan tool to it it gives no codes any ideas out there i'm stumped?

Have you checked the circuit between the alternator and PCM? That circuit controls the battery light and also tells the alternator when to charge. There are 2 wires, check both back to the PCM.
