Just got me a Beater truck. A 2wd 1973 Dodge with the slant 6 single BBL carb, manual steering that is worn out, and no AC. Just an old beater yard truck to haul trees and stuff from the house. Grew up in springfield Illinois and live in Ocala, Fl now. Just found the site. looks like a good place to hang out and learn some. BTW any one around central Fl got a tailgate?

Welcome ptannjr. Yeah it is a real neat site, and there is a world of knowledge here, both in "OLDER" minds and younger as well...........
If you have any questions, just JUMP right in and ask away, who knows, someone might have a tailgate.....Speeeeeedo probably does, and he lives up in the hills somewhere North of you. I think he is in NC, SC, or Virgina. You know, it's one of them thar backwards states :D
