well its not really a HOT ROD yet / but one of are customers decided to stop driving [she,s 92 1/2] her car / its a 1976 DODGE aspen she bought brand new / she gave it to me / not much rust but its dented up pretty good / its a slant 6 auto 2dr hard top / so all the drive train from my 69 340 PLYMOUTH valiant that I totalled will be put to good use / Question ? does any body know if an A-body 8 3/4 rear will fit in the J-body / I,ll post some PICs when I get the car

The 8¾ will fit but the spring perches may need relocating. I had one from an A body that someone had put into an Aspen and they definitely would no longer fit back into an A body. The 8¼ is a strong diff that will bolt in though, and would probably be quite inexpensive as they were used in F,M and J bodies.
