I have a 1972 Dodge and my truck's electrical system is messed up, the electrical system thinks its putting out 12 volts like normal but inside the cab its reading under 12 volts and back out under the hood the 12 volts is back. Anybody have any ideas? i have heard from some ppl there is a way to bypass somethings and upgade the electrical system but idk where to find the info... any help would be apprecitated. Thanks :help:

Sounds like you have high resistence in the primary wiring after just a mere 35 years. :):)
Does your truck have the mechanical or electronic voltage regulator?
At idle what is the battery voltage when you measure across the + and - post with a VOM meter?
