axle spindle

i have been trying to do a front axle seal on my truck for 2 days now. I took the wheel and hub off along with brake calliper mount brake splash sheild and the six nuts that hold the spindel to the steering knuckel. i have been trying this for 2 days now trying to get the spindel off to pull the axle out. i tried everything to get it off, soaked it in oil , heated it, beat it. Nothing is getting it off, i also tried to get a pry bar on it but i cant get one on it. i read and re read everything in service manual about it and i did everything it said to do.

i dont know if im missing anything here or theres some trick to get this off but im lost here, any ideas?

Now mines a 79' so it may be different than yours, but when I did mine, the inside grease seal had to come out first and yeah it was a bit of a pain... But there is no way to get the axle out until the seal comes out...

But like I said, mine's older, so I may be wrong about yours....

(Oh, I almost forgot...) IF you happen to have the kind of ujoints with a grease fitting on the end of one of the caps, that's gotta come off too...)
