Hello I just thought that i would let you guys know what you have been helping me with . My truck is a 1973 w200 . It was one of my best buddies rig.[it was his toy] About 10 years ago he lost his life in a industrial accident. The truck sat for many years and was getting very rough shape.About 4 years i was looking at buying a older truck to play with. I had looked at a few , but my friends wife decide to give the truck to me .We are best friends. Over the the years i have been slowly doing a body off resto . Man its been allot of work ! I petty much had a frame to start with. Its been fun and a great learning process. So far i have strip it to the frame , weld in new floor pans and made some , cab corners ,front suspension, i even had to weld on a new roof skin the rain gutters rotted out the roof, found a box in texas, all frame crossmember had to be replaced {made new ones**,all new brakes from front to back, hours and hours of body work, I even painted myself 1st time for me!The only thing that i have not done was rebuild the engine i let the pros do that ,they hopped it up a bit .sprayed in a box liner, Next to is the interior and finish putting the front end togther and rewiring . Once again THANKS for the help. Jon

Wow!!
That truck looks great. :)
I'm going through a similar process myself with my '79. There's a lot to do when your into a frame off rebuild but it looks like your on the home stretch.

Love the look...I would wrap the headers while you have the fenders off and get rid of that steering shaft and get an adjustable one
