carbon fibre

Hello I was wondering if working with carbon fibre was alot like working with fibreglass? I was thinking of using the dash pad and glove box covers for molds and making new ones out of carbon fibre. I know that it can be nasty stuff to breath . But i will were the proper safety gear . Thanks

I believe it is, at least as far as doing overlays like you're talking about. Or at least very similar.
