Recently the dealership did a brake job on the rear brakes of our 2006 Grand Caravan. Now, when I step on the brake pedal at a stop the brakes make a weird noise, even when the vehicle is at a full stop. It is not a grinding noise...I really cant describe it but should it be making any noise at all?

I know the noise.I had the same problem with my 03 GC sport. It started couple of weeks after i purchased it form brampton dodge used car dealer, They supposely change the front brakes and adjust the backs.
I took the van back to dealer before my 35 days safety was expired 6 hours
later they toled me it's fix only needed adjustment, Ya right.
What i did was sparid 3 in 1 professional white lithium grease inside the brake assembly (make sure none gets on the drum and shoes) and it got rid of the noise for now.try it hope it helps.
